‘COD: Warzone’ has finally arrived on mobile devices after years of anticipation; and it looks pretty impressive on iOS, remember iOS. Even the old Call Of Duty has peak graphics. In warzone it’s even better, they have significantly enhanced the visuals and details. But, why are we reading this article? This is to know whether your phone can handle it or not? And will you be able to experience the visuals those iOS users experience.
What are the devices that are capable of handling the PEAK graphics of COD Warzone? For now only models that are capable of handling the peak graphics of COD Warzone are iOS 15 Pro models (Based on some research). These iOS 15 Pro models are capable of handling the game at its peak and some of the new gen iPads are capable of handling at this rate.
The devices that are capable of handling the COD: Warzone are i Phones and i Pads which have A17 Bionic chips in them. Wonder what are some iPhones and i Pads that have this chips? Here are some of them:

What is the difference between PEAK graphics and HIGH graphics?
When you use PEAK graphics the game will run in 2k quality, while handling all textures and resolutions. What is this 2k quality helpful for? With this PEAK 2k quality you can clearly see the objects from long distances, you can clearly see the shadows and the floating experience will be good as you can see the ground from far away.
Activision wrote in an App Store post with more information, “The famous Verdansk map will have a multitude of visual enhancements.” Increasing the draw distance makes things on the sky look more clear. The leaves have gotten a lot more complicated, and flowers that used to be all the same can now be told apart as dandelions. Additionally, atmospheric occlusion and reflection mapping bring life to places like airports and dams.

What About Android?
Sadly, Android enthusiasts have not yet reached that pinnacle of experience. Warzone can be handled on mobiles with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. That too you can only play upto HIGH graphic settings not PEAK. Inexplicably, Activision has restricted access to the ‘Low’ and ‘Min’ parameters to entry-level devices. Mine is Realme 8i and I have downloaded to experience the game and it has restricted my graphic settings to low, not even medium.
But, based on some gamers’ reviews even at the ‘High’ setting, the resolution on Android flagships appears noticeably lower than on more recent iPhones with the same setting. Powerful Android flagships such as the Galaxy S24 Ultra (Snapdragon 8 Gen 3) are essentially incapable of matching the visuals of the iPhone 14 Pro/15 Pro at that level.
Mid Range Android smartphones, such as the Nothing Phone 2a (Dimensity 7200 Pro), have a maximum price point of ‘Mid.’ Tech reviewers have tested it on the device and were pleased with the framerate. Additionally, it is efficient because the game runs more smoothly with it enabled.
Fragmentation of Android hardware is obviously the underlying cause in this situation. The vast variety of processors produced by Qualcomm, Samsung, MediaTek, and others presents a formidable obstacle to optimisation in contrast to Apple’s stringent hardware control.
When will PEAK be available on additional devices?
The good news is that Activision appears to be leaving the door open for a future version of PEAK on Android, as the locked option is still visible.
Warzone has only been released today, so it is possible that forthcoming updates will begin to enable high-quality visuals on the most recent Android hardware. It would be foolish for Activision to disregard such a substantial portion of the mobile market.
However, there is one interesting feature from Activision worth noting: regardless of the preset you employ, the visuals of Warzone Mobile have the potential to enhance gradually, to a certain extent. While you play, the game downloads optimized assets invisibly in the background, resulting in an experience that is gradually more visually appealing.
